Abstract

The invention discloses a high speed optical module, especially the multi-channel, the single mode and the parallel transmission optical module of the optical communication field. The optical module comprises a pedestal, a first transmission optical sub apparatus (TOSA), a second transmission optical sub apparatus (TOSA), a third transmission optical sub apparatus (TOSA), a fourth transmission optical sub apparatus (TOSA), and an MT fiber connector. The TOSA can be the TO-38 TOSA for a 10G DFB chip or FP chip. By means of single mode communication, the optical module can realize the transmission distance greater than 10 kilometers. Besides, for further simplification of the single-mode fiber, the invention uses a 12-chip MT fiber connector, wherein the four fiber connectors are respectively in output connection with the corresponding LC standard fiber stub and TOSA so that the optical module also realizes high speed and long-distance transmission, high capacity, small volume and light weight, and can also be widely applied to the high speed optical communication.
