The on-line analysis device comprises a power supply and program control box, a sampling and thermo-analysis device and a GC-MS, wherein the power supply and program control box is used for controlling and adjusting the working state of a whole system, and is connected to the sampling and thermo-analysis device through a circuit; a carrier gas cylinder is connected with the sampling and thermo analysis device; the sampling and thermo-analysis device can perform collection and thermo-analysis on volatile carbonyl compound samples synchronously; the samples after thermal-analysis pass through a fused quartz tube and enter into the GC-MS to perform separation and quantification on carbonyl compounds. Sampling stages and thermo-analysis stages of all sampling pipes do not interfere with one another, and can be performed synchronously, so that the continuous monitoring of the carbonyl compounds in ambient air is achieved. The on-line analysis device can not only be used for observing the carbonyl compounds in conventional ambient air, but also be used for continuously detecting a secondary organic aerosol oxidation product simulated by a smog chamber in a lab.
