Abstract

The invention discloses a cluster system comprising a virtual machine, a virtual machine control module, a storage module, a wide area network acceleration module and a backup module. The storage module and the wide area network acceleration module operate on the virtual machine; the virtual machine control module is used for controlling the virtual machine to operate; the storage module is used for defining storage through software and converting storage into virtual storage resource to allow the virtual machine to perform data storage; the backup module is used for acquiring the backup data; the wide area network acceleration module is used for performing acceleration processing on the backup data; the backup module is further used for transmitting the backup data after the acceleration processing to backup equipment so as to complete the backup of the backup data.
