Abstract

The invention discloses a shared device switching method and electronic equipment, and overcomes a problem of low switching success rate due to the fact that a traditional shared device is easily affected when the traditional shared device is switched between a main system and a slave system of the electronic equipment. The method comprises the following steps: a second system receives a shared device switching requirement initiated by an application of a system used by a user at present, the second system is switched to a second mode from a current first mode or third mode, and a first system is notified after switching is finished; the first system switches the shared device to another system from a current mounted system, and the second system is notified after the switching is finished; after the second system receives switching finishing information, the second system is switched to the third mode or the first mode from the second mode; and therefore, the shared device is operated under the second system or the first system. According to the embodiment of the invention, the shared device is switched in the second mode by the first system so as to improve the switching success rate.
