Embodiment Construction

[0026] Various embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The above-mentioned advantages of the present invention will be more easily understood through the following description.

[0027] figure 1 An application scenario of the directional area selection interlocking system according to an embodiment of the present invention is exemplarily shown, that is, an H-bridge power distribution network structure. like figure 1 As shown, the H-bridge network includes two power sources TM1 and TM2, which supply power to two passive loads L respectively. Each arm of the H-bridge structure is provided with circuit breakers (CB: Circuit Breaker) CB1, CB2, CB4 and CB5, and a tie circuit breaker CB3 is also provided on the intermediate bridge. exist figure 1Arrows near each circuit breaker in , show a current reference direction. The current reference direction is, for example, the direction of current flowing through the ci...

Abstract

The invention brings forward an external directional protection unit (EDP) capable of realizing directional zone selectivity interlocking (DZSI) of a circuit breaker (CB), wherein the protection unit can be connected to the existing circuit breaker with the zone selectivity interlocking (ZSI) function externally. The protection unit comprises an input interface (IE) connected to the circuit breaker and an output interface (OE) connected to the circuit breaker, a forward interface pair (IF / OF) connected with protection units of other circuit breakers to transmit an interlocking signal, and a reverse interface pair (IB / OB). A control unit (CTRL) arranged in the protection unit is configured to determine whether the direction of the current flowing through the circuit breaker (CB) is consistent with a predetermined current reference direction; if so, the forward interface pair (IF / OF) are enabled; and if not, the reverse interface pair (IB / OB) are enabled.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates generally to the protection of electrical distribution networks, and more particularly to directional zone selective interlocks for circuit breakers in electrical distribution networks. Background technique [0002] Zone Selectivity Protection, or Zone Selectivity Interlock (ZSI: Zone Selectivity Interlock), is a method to reduce the impact on each power distribution equipment in the power distribution network in the event of a short-circuit fault by shortening the fault clearing time as much as possible. Specifically, assuming that a fault occurs in a multi-level power distribution network powered by a single source, each circuit breaker that detects a fault needs to report the detected fault to its upstream circuit breaker, that is, an interlock signal occurs. In this way, only those circuit breakers that have not received the report are determined to be the circuit breakers closest to the fault point and perform instant...
