Abstract

Railway bogie (1) comprising a frame bogie (7), a wheelset including wheels (4) mounted on a rotatable axle having a rotation axis (X-X'), at least one axlebox (2) wherein at least one rolling bearing is assembling for supporting the rotatable axle, and at least one suspension (6) mounted on a link arm (5) of the said at least one axlebox (2), and an adapter (100; 300) fast with the bogie frame (7) on top and supported by the said at least one suspension (6) on the bottom. The said adapter (100; 300) comprises at least one bracket (102; 302) wherein an assembling plate (104) is fast wit the bottom surface of the said at least one bracket (102; 302) and is mounted upon an assembling surface (10) defined on the top of the said at least one suspension (6); an inner empty volume (117) is defined inside the said at least one bracket (102; 302) by a surrounding wall (110); and an upper opening (112; 312) is provided on the upper section of the bracket (102; 302) in which tools can be inserted during manufacturing and / or upper part of assembling means (8) can fit.
