Abstract

The invention relates to a system for synchronization of a communication network and time in an intelligent transformer substation. The intelligent transformer substation is of a system structure comprising a transformer substation layer, a partition layer, a process layer, an MMS network and an SV (or GOOSE) network. The system is characterized in that the MMS network and the SV or GOOSE network both utilize the PTN equipment network, and logic insulation of each interval is achieved through an MPLS VPN; as for clock synchronization, PTN equipment provides high-accuracy time synchronization signals like IEEE1588. The invention further relates to a method for synchronization of the communication network and time in the intelligent transformer substation. According to the system and method, communication resource configuration is optimized, network performance is improved, the time synchronization requirement for high accuracy is provided, and integration of the communication network and a time synchronization platform is achieved.
