Abstract

In the method, under the condition of link failure, only a local node is needed to participate in the procedure of protection switching, so the method has a higher recovery speed; when a fault happens to the link of a network and network faults are detected at the nodes at both sides of the fault link, a service is directly switched to a protection ring of a pre-connection network through the communication network node device disclosed by the invention; and the service is transmitted along the prearranged protection ring between the nodes at both ends of the fault link, and therefore, the service avoids the network fault so as to realize rapid network protection.
