Abstract

The invention discloses a type setting method and system for laws and regulations. The method includes the steps: firstly, processing tags in an area needing type setting through regular expressions and switching the tags into HTML (hypertext markup language) linefeed tags P; secondly, automatically selecting all contents in the area needing type setting through a selection function; finally, sequentially processing text formats, volume titles, chapter titles, section titles and item formats in the area needing type setting according to preset standards to set types of the area needing type setting. By sequentially processing the text formats, the volume titles, the chapter titles, the section titles and the item formats in the area needing type setting, features of the laws and regulations can be more accurately expressed through type setting effects. The tags are processed through the regular expressions, so that the text formats and paragraph formats are reserved, and any other tags, types and meaningless null characters are removed. Besides, the contents in the area needing type setting are automatically selected, and one-key type setting is truly realized.
