Problems solved by technology

First, elevated blood pressure mostly occurs at night and in the morning, and it is difficult to detect abnormal blood pressure without 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, so it is hidden and difficult to detect early
Second, non-dipper hypertension is more prone to left ventricular hypertrophy and left ventricular diastolic dysfunction
[0008] 2. The instrument is bulky and inconvenient to carry, especially for people who travel frequently
[0009] 3. The connecting tube restricts the patient's nighttime activities and reduces compliance
[0010] 4. Continuous positive pressure means continuous airflow, which will cause discomfort to most patients, so that quite a few patients cannot tolerate treatment

Embodiment Construction

[0026] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0027] A ventilated nasal plug with positive expiratory pressure, such as figure 1 , figure 2 As shown, it includes a housing 1, which is provided with two through holes, a silicone tube 2 is provided on the through holes, a one-way air intake valve 3 is provided at the bottom of the housing 1, and a one-way pressure valve is provided at the front end of the housing 1. Adjustable outlet valve 4.

[0028] During use, the silicone tube 2 is inserted into the nostril of the patient receiving treatment, and then fixed by a fixing band tied behind the head. The one-way intake valve 3 is opened during inhalation, and the inhalation resistance is about 0. When exhaling, the one-way intake valve 3 is closed, and the gas is exhaled restrictively through the one-way pressure-adjustable outlet valve 4, thereby establishing a positive pressure in the airway during the expirati...

Abstract

The invention discloses a ventilation nasal plug with positive expiratory pressure. The ventilation nasal plug comprises a casing, wherein two through-holes are formed in the casing; a silicone tube is arranged at each through-hole; a one-way inlet valve is arranged at the bottom of the casing; and a one-way pressure adjustable outlet valve is arranged at the front end of the casing. During the use, the silicone tubes are inserted into nares of a treated patient and then are fixed through a fixing band in a knotting manner behind the head. During inspiration, the one-way inlet valve is opened, and inspiratory resistance is about zero. During expiration, the one-way inlet valve is closed, and air is restrictively expired through the one-way pressure adjustable outlet valve, so that expiratory phase in-airway positive pressure is established, and the pressure range can be adjusted by setting the one-way pressure adjustable outlet valve. The ventilation nasal plug with positive expiratory pressure can be used comfortably; and for a mask claustrophobia patient and other patients who cannot accept mask treatment, sleep is affected less, the nasal plug is easy to carry, and the patient compliance is good.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a ventilating nasal plug with positive expiratory pressure. Background technique [0002] The prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) reported abroad is 2% to 4%, and the prevalence of men and women increases with age. According to the statistics of our country: 4.1% of males and 2.1% of females in Hong Kong (30-60 years old). Shanghai (>30 years old) is 3.6%. Based on this, it is estimated that there are at least 20 million OSAHS patients older than 30 years old in my country. Risk factors include obesity, structural abnormalities of the maxillofacial and pharyngeal cavity, and abnormal ventilation and upper airway muscle control. The hazards of OSAHS include hypertension, glucose metabolism disorder, proteinuria, ischemic heart disease and so on. [0003] OSAHS has been identified as an independent risk factor for hypertension other than obesity, age, genetics, smoking and other factors. There i...
