The system comprises a water inlet tank, a water inlet pump, a water inlet solenoid valve, a water outlet solenoid valve, a pressure gage, a heating unit and a control unit. The method disclosed by the invention comprises the following steps of: firstly, connecting the membrane module into the detection system; heating water in the water tank; opening the water inlet solenoid valve and closing the water outlet solenoid valve to ensure that impact pressure in the membrane module reaches specified pressure, and keeping the pressure in regulated time; then, opening the water outlet solenoid valve and closing the water inlet solenoid valve; rapidly discharging water and leaking pressure to zero; returning outlet water back to the water inlet tank; and circularly and alternatively carrying out pressure keeping operation and pressure leaking operation, wherein the cycle period is at least 100000 times. According to the detection system and method disclosed by the invention, a stressing condition of the membrane module under circulating impacting acting force in an application operation process can be simulated through alternative circulation of pressure keeping and pressure leaking periods of the impact pressure, and the sealing effect of a glue sealing end face of the membrane module is effectively evaluated, so that the service life of the membrane module is judged.
