The heat exchange separator comprises a closed refrigerant evaporation part, an ice scraping motor, an ice scraping knife, a shell and a salt crystal collecting container, wherein the top of the shell is connected with the refrigerant evaporation part; the lower part of the shell is conical; the lower part of the shell is connected with the salt crystal collecting container through a salt crystal outlet receiving pipe and a salt crystal collecting control valve; the ice scraping knife is arranged on an output shaft of the ice scraping motor; the ice scraping knife is mounted on the top of the shell and is contacted with an ice crystal crystallization part of the refrigerant evaporation part; an ice crystal outlet receiving pipe is arranged on the top of the shell; an ice crystal collecting control valve is mounted on the ice crystal outlet receiving pipe; and a seawater inlet receiving pipe and a fresh seawater outlet receiving pipe are arranged on the shell. According to the heat exchange separator, the temperature of the seawater is reduced by utilizing heat absorption caused by evaporation of the refrigerant; and fresh water is crystallized and separated out of the seawater and the salt crystals are separated out by utilizing the extraction technology principle.
