Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a statistical query method and a statistical query system for grid data and aims to solve the problems that a statistical query operation is low in speed and low in accuracy in the background art. The method comprises the following steps of: querying whether a record which corresponds to a statistical query requesting information exists in region list or not after the statistical query requesting information sent by a client is received; performing a statistical query operation according to the statistical query requesting information when the record does not exist, sending a statistical query result to the client, and saving the statistical query result to the region list; and sending the statistical query result in the record to the client when the record exists. According to the statistical query method and system for the grid data, disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the statistical query speed is increased; the problem that the statistical query result is low in accuracy due to frequent statistical query on data files is also solved; and meanwhile, the statistical query efficiency when grid data files are updated is also improved.
