Abstract

The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for establishing a session, and the method comprises: receiving a session request message from a calling terminal, wherein the session request message is used to request the establishment of a P2P session media connection between the calling terminal and a called terminal; according to the session request message, obtaining relay resource of a relay node; establishing the P2P session media connections among the calling terminal, the relay node and the called terminal by using the relay resource.
