Abstract

The invention discloses an organic paddy planting method, which comprises the steps of: A, sowing and raising seedling: a, planting Chinese trumpet creeper around midmonth of October in winter in the first year, and meanwhile, seeding seed rice; b, ploughing plants in full-bloom stage around midmonth of May in spring of the second year, irrigating and retting; B, leveling the field and transplanting rice; C, field stocking: after a week of carrying out the step C, stocking 15-20 newly-hatched ducklings per mu (a unit of area), and stocking duckweed; D, field management: during growth period of paddy, spraying pesticide and herbicide to different paddies, not applying chemical fertilizers to paddies, and after heading of the paddies, yielding ducks in the initial stage of grouting; and F, harvesting paddies: harvesting the paddies when the paddies are mature. With the adoption of the method, problems in current production of paddies are solved, no chemical pesticides are used in the growth period of paddies truly, and the quality and yield of paddy rice are improved, thereby, accelerating agricultural production to develop in a healthy and sustainable direction.
