Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a processing method and equipment of location information of a fault point. The method comprises the following steps that an access node of an LDP LSP (Label Distribution Protocol Label Switch Path) acquires first location information of the fault point on a link through which the LDP LSP passes, wherein the first location information of the fault point comprises a label of an upstream node of the fault point and a label of an interface of the fault point on the upstream node of the fault point; and the access node provides the first location information of the fault point to a user, so that the user determines the location of the fault point corresponding to an LDP LSP fault. Through the technical scheme provided by the invention, the location of the fault point corresponding to the LDP LSP fault can be determined, and the troubleshooting efficiency aiming at the LDP LSP fault is favorably increased.
