The second screen comprises a digital television program reception module and a digital television program analysis module, wherein the digital television program reception module is used for receiving audio and video data from the set-top box with the WIFI hotspot; and the digital television program analysis module is used for analyzing the audio and video data received by the digital television program reception module so as to obtain audio and video streams of a digital television program, and calling a player for playing. The second screen is further provided with a remote control module, wherein the remote control module is used for monitoring control touch events of users and transmitting corresponding key codes to the digital television in an infrared manner or to the set-top box with the WIFI hotspot in a wireless manner.
