Abstract

The invention relates to a lipid-lowering and liver-protecting herbal tea which is mainly composed of the eight components of: licorice, honeysuckle flower, chrysanthemum, cassia seed, hawthorn fruit, Mongolian milkvetch root, oriental waterplantain tuber, and Chinese magnoliavine fruit. The formulas for the herbal tea can be divided into a common formula and a sugar-free formula. According to the common formula, a sucrose sweetening agent is added.
