Abstract

The invention discloses a liquid level sensing device and electrical equipment with a water tank. The liquid level sensing device is used for detecting level of the water tank and comprises a shell, a light emitting tube and a light receiving tube, wherein the light emitting tube and the light receiving tube are positioned by the shell, the shell is fixed on the outer side of the water tank, light-transmitting projections are arranged at positions, corresponding to the light emitting tube and the light receiving tube, on the inner wall of the water tank, and a water tank position sensing switch is arranged on the outer side of the water tank. When water level is higher than the projections, light emitted from the light emitting tube is projected into water directly, and no light can be received by the light receiving tube. When the water level is lower than the projections, light emitted from the light emitting tube is reflected totally on the interface of the projections and the air so as to arrive at the light receiving tube, and then, the light receiving tube can send an alarm signal. When the whole water tank is removed, the water tank position sensing switch can send signals to indicate the electrical equipment to stop working, so that accidents such as burning-out can be avoided.
