Abstract

The invention relates to a pennisetum sinese roxb natural high-kalium health drink which is a botanical drink produced by taking pennisetum sinese roxb stems as raw materials. The drink comprises the following components according to the mass percent: 10 to 100% of pennisetum sinese roxb stem juice, 0 to 10.0% or sugar, 0 to 0.50% of citric acid and the balance of water. According to the invention, the mass percent of pennisetum sinese roxb stem juice is 10 to 100%, and water, citric acid and white granulated sugar are added as required to be prepared; one or two of sucralose, acesulfame, APM (aspartame) and other sweeteners can be compounded to replace part of all of the white granulated sugar to produce a low-sugar or sugarless pennisetum sinese roxb botanical drink; coloring matters, essence and preservative agents are not added, the special flavour and the nutrition come from the pennisetum sinese roxb stem juice, and particularly, the natural high-kalium health drink is rich in kalium; and kalium is necessary electrolyte which can keep human body fluid balanced, and help to regulate functions of nerves and muscles and to control blood pressure, so that heart diseases and apoplexy can be prevented.
