Abstract

As a raw material, natural STI zeolite undergoes ammonium solution exchange to obtain NH4-STI zeolite. Then, NH4-STI zeolite undergoes high temperature calcination to obtain H-STI zeolite. Hygroscopicity of the zeolite at relative humidity of 75.1% can reach 15.3%. The zeolite can be used as an excellent high-efficiency hollow glass adsorbent. Natural mineral resources used in the invention have advantages of high grade, abundant reserves and low exploitation cost. Simultaneously, the method for preparing the STI zeolite hollow glass adsorbent is simple and requires low cost. The modified natural stilbite used as the hollow glass adsorbent has a very wide application prospect in the field of building materials.
