Abstract

The present invention relates to a location-based data service apparatus and method. The location-based data service apparatus comprises: an SOI graphic providing section for providing graphic information necessary to search location-based data; an SOI processing section for generating SOI information by using the graphic information provided from the SOI graphic providing section, with the SOI information being structurally connected in units of SOI (Space Of Interest), and for generating location-based data by matching the generated SOI information with data information corresponding to the SOI information; and a location-based data processing section for managing the location-based data that is generated in the SOI processing section.
