Embodiment Construction

[0046] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0047] The present invention is based on the method for measuring the ice thickness of transmission line insulators based on video difference analysis, such as Figure 6 As shown, the specific steps are as follows:

[0048] Step 1: Collect the image signal of the transmission line through the camera installed on the tower, and transmit it to the monitoring center in real time through wireless communication; the monitoring center obtains the digital image of the monitored transmission line site, and obtains the monitoring target image;

[0049]Step 2: In order to correct the distortion of the camera lens and obtain the ice thickness of the insulator in metric units in the world coordinate system, the present invention uses a standard calibration plate whose features can be easily extracted to calibrate the camera, calculate the internal and ex...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for measuring an icing thickness of an insulator of a power transmission line based on video difference analysis. The method comprises the following steps of: shooting an on-site image by virtue of a video monitoring device; automatically acquiring boundaries before and after icing of the power transmission line by using an image processing technology comprising camera calibration, image graying, image enhancement, image partitioning and the like, and then quantificationally calculating the icing thickness of the insulator; and when the icing thickness of the insulator of the power transmission line exceeds a planned safety range, automatically alarming to indicate relevant departments to take deicing measures immediately. In the method, the icing thickness of the insulator is obtained by directly using an icing image of the insulator, so the theory is simple, the operation is convenient, the accuracy and the reliability are higher, various defects in the conventional method are overcome, and a new measure is supplied to safe detection for the power transmission line; furthermore, a large quantity of human resources and a large amount of cost can be saved; the utilization rate of an online monitoring system is increased; and the method has extremely important real significance for safe running of a power system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of digital video image processing and on-line monitoring of transmission lines, and relates to a method for measuring the thickness of ice coating, in particular to a method for measuring the thickness of ice coating of insulators of transmission lines based on video difference analysis. Background technique [0002] In power transmission and transformation systems, the phenomenon of icing on transmission lines is very common. Icing may cause major accidents such as wire galloping, tower tilting, tower collapse, and insulator flashover, which seriously threatens the safe operation of the power system. With the rapid development of science and technology, the on-line monitoring method of icing has also been developed. At present, there are two main detection schemes for insulator icing: (1) On-site observation and recording of meteorological information and icing by inspectors. However, due to the sparsely p...
