Abstract

The invention discloses a method of a single subscriber having multiple numbers, which is a method for logically integrating a plurality of mobile phone numbers on the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card of one mobile phone. A user is capable of owning more than two mobile phone numbers on one single-mode mobile phone through the configuration of a mobile core network system. The method comprises the following steps of: subscribing a plurality of numbers to a mobile core network Home Location Register (HLR) and setting one of the numbers as a default number as well as setting the default main number of the user of one card with multiple numbers in a Feature manner; uniformly planning virtual access codes (as shown in 10) in the entire network and routing a call from an auxiliary number to the main number by means of the virtual access codes; remaining the original information of the user from the HLR and the SMC; subscribing for forwarding to 'virtual access code plus old number' unconditionally; configuring by an attached network Mobile Switching Centre MSC to route a call from the 'virtual access code plus old number' to a new network; and implementing the entire subsequent service processing in the new network.
