Embodiment 1

[0028] Embodiment 1, foam conveys polystyrene nanoparticles

[0029] The suspension of polystyrene nanoparticles is added in the surfactant (sodium lauryl ether sulfate) solution, and the surfactant concentration is 1%, and the solution is injected into a plexiglass column (diameter 10mm, length 100mm) with a pump, At the same time, feed nitrogen into the column to generate foam, and control the dryness of the foam at about 95%. Inject the generated foam into a column (diameter 40mm, length 200mm) filled with quartz sand. The other end of the column is connected to a vacuum pump ( figure 1 It is a schematic diagram of the whole set of equipment), and the vacuum degree is controlled at 0.05-0.08MPa. Before the injection experiment, the quartz sand is pre-saturated with water, and before the foam containing nanoparticles is injected, the foam without nanoparticles is injected for pre-balancing. During the injection of the foam containing nanoparticles, samples of the outflow fo...

Embodiment 2

[0032] Embodiment 2, foam transporting nanometer zero-valent iron particles.

[0033] Using the same procedure as in Example 1, the nanometer zero-valent iron particles were transported into the quartz sand with foam. The concentration of nano-iron is greater than 5 g / L. The results show that the concentration of nano-iron particles in the outflow foam is more than 80% of the concentration in the injected foam, indicating that the foam can also significantly improve the migration of nano-iron particles in the quartz sand.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the researching field of soil remediation methods, and provides a method for conveying a nano-particle remediation substance to an aeration zone by using foam. According to the invention, first, an aqueous solution of a nano-particle remediation substance and a surfactant is prepared; air is delivered into the solution, and foam with a required quality is obtained through adjusting the air volume; the foam is delivered to a polluted aeration zone; nano-particles conveyed by the foam are moving in the porous medium of the aeration zone, such that in-situ remediation is realized. Conveyed by foam, the remediation substance moves in a horizontal direction more easily, and the affecting scope of the substance is enlarged. In prior arts of remediation substance conveying by using solutions, there are limitations such as that the nano-particles are detained by the water film in the aeration zone. With the method provided by the present invention, the limitation is overcome.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a technique for transporting restoration substances, especially nanoparticle restoration substances, to polluted vadose zones, and belongs to the research field of soil restoration methods. Background technique [0002] Vertical migration of pollutants in porous media is a long-term source of groundwater pollution. The remediation methods of pollutants in the shallow vadose zone include: in-situ remediation methods (such as using steam leaching to remediate volatile organic pollutants) and ex-situ remediation methods (such as excavating heavy metal-contaminated soil, Then repair by chemical rinsing, etc.). However, there are still great challenges in remediating the pollutants in the deep vadose zone. Due to the limitation of restoration cost and restoration technology, the pollutants in the vadose zone of many polluted sites cannot be remediated ex situ. For these places, in situ fixation is considered an attractive prosthe...
