Abstract

The invention discloses a cable for ship hydrophone equipment and a manufacturing method thereof, which belong to the field of cables, wherein a cable core is formed by intertwisting four insulated wire cores in a star shaped disposition, and the pitch diameter ratio for intertwisting is 8 to 10; each insulated wire core comprises a core wire conductor in the center; each core wire conductor is formed by intertwisting 16 tinned copper wire bundles with a diameter of 0.15mm to 0.20mm and a single wire elongation at break of 15% to 20%, and the pitch diameter ratio for intertwisting is 8 to 11; the peripheries of the core wire conductors are wrapped with insulating layers in an extrusion way, and the thickness of each insulating layer is 0.60 to 0.62mm; the insulating layers of two of the insulated wire cores, which are opposite to each other, are wrapped with shielding layers, and each shielding layer is formed by weaving the tinned copper wires with a single wire diameter of 0.12 to 0.14mm, and the weaving density is 90% to 95%; the shielding layers are externally lapped with insulated tape lapped layers, and a packing layer which makes the cable core round and complete is arranged on the periphery of the cable core; and the periphery of the packing layer is wrapped with an outer sheath in an extrusion way, and the outer sheath is made from chlorosulfonated polyethylene with a thickness of 1.2 to 1.4mm.
