Abstract

The invention discloses a method for producing white cement at a low temperature from shells instead of limestone. The ingredients of the white cement are as follows (in percentage by weight): 80 to 90 percent of mixed material and 10 to 20 percent of clinker. The preparation method of the mixed material comprises the following steps of: preparing fine powder of shells, kaolin, natural gypsum; and calcining in a high-temperature furnace respectively, and thoroughly mixing them at a ratio of 5: 3: 2. The preparation method of the clinker comprises the following steps of: thoroughly mixing 85% of shell powder and 15% of kaolin powder, calcining at 1350 DEG C, and bleaching in cold water for 1 minute. The invention has the advantages that: the method for preparing white cement from shells has a low calcination temperature, achieves the purpose of waste utilization and saves energy; and the product is healthy and environment-friendly, and the method conforms to the principles of sustainable development in the building material industry and has wide market prospects.
