Abstract

The electrolysis waste solution contains partial or all of nickel ions, ferrous ions, ferric ions and chromium ions, and sodium sulfate. In the method, an oxidation step is performed on the electrolysis waste solution, so that the ferrous ions in the waste solution are oxidized into ferric ions, wherein the oxidation step does not introduce new ions into the waste solution. After the pH value of the waste solution is regulated to a preset value of between 4.8 and 5.2, the waste solution is fed into a solid-liquid separation device, and the ferric ions and the chromium ions in the waste solution form sediments in the solid-liquid separation device. The supernate in the solid-liquid separation device is delivered to an ion exchange device for ion exchange, nickel therein is extracted, and finally, the liquid discharged after the ion exchange is returned to an electrolyte storage tank. The method can simultaneously reclaim the nickel metal and the electrolysis waste solution in a simple mode.
