Abstract

The invention relates to an application of a Keemun black tea extracting solution in Chinese style cigarettes, belonging to the technical field of cigarette production and processing. The technical scheme of the invention comprises the following steps of: soaking Keemun black tea bought from formal commercial channels in an 80% ethanol solution for 24h; then, concentrating the concentration of the extracting solution to 10% by volume with a conventional method; and applying 0.02-0.04wt% of Keemun black tea extracting solution which is used as an additive into top additions of tobacco shred of Chinese style cigarettes. Comparison smoking results with contrast samples by provincial level judgers show that the Keemun black tea extracting solution not only can soften smoke gas, but also can promote the secretion of saliva and generate sweet taste.
