Problems solved by technology

[0007] Settling the liquid portion for at least three days makes the method very complicated
In addition, prolonged liquid partial settling results in oil saturation with toxic components leached from the residue
Moreover, triple filtration is another factor complicating the process, which results in a substantial loss of the desired product

Embodiment 1

[0016] Example 1. Harvested tobacco seeds were cleaned by sieving through 6-8 mm mesh sieves and pressed according to standard specifications under pressure applied to the press to separate them into solid (cake) and liquid (oil) fractions.

[0017] Crude tobacco oil produced under pressure was settled for 12 hours. During settling, solid particles sink to the bottom of the reservoir to form oil sludge (ooze), with the oil remaining on top. Separate the upper layer from the ooze and send it to a thick-walled enamel vessel, and add activated carbon at a ratio of oil: charcoal = 100:3. The oil-activated carbon mixture was heated to 60°C and exposed to this temperature for 40 minutes, after which the oil was cooled to room temperature and cleaned. Cleaning involves filtering through a medium density paper filter. The cleaned oil is delivered to 1-5 liter amber glass bottles where the oil is stored ready to be packaged for the consumer.

Embodiment 2

[0051] Example 2. The method was carried out according to Example 1, but the liquid part was settled for 18 hours, and activated carbon was added to the oil in a ratio of oil:charcoal=100:5. The charcoal-oil mixture was heated to 50 °C and exposed to this temperature for 60 minutes, then filtered.

Abstract

This invention concerns the methods of oil production from vegetable raw material and may be used to producing fat oils from high-oleic wastes of tobacco fields, i.e., tobacco seeds. Achievable result consists in simplified processing method and reduced degree of toxic components extraction from the residue through minimized settling time and losses of desired product. Above-mentioned result in production of medical tobacco oil is achieved through process which includes tobacco seeds cleaning, pressing, and separation into liquid and solid fractions and obtained liquid fraction settling with subsequent oil recovery followed by oil filtration conforming to this invention, where obtained liquid fraction is settled during 12-18 hours; before oil filtration it is pre-cleaned with activated coal additions at ratio of oil : coal = 100 : 2-5; oil is heated up to 50-60 DEG C and exposed to these temperatures for 40-60 minutes; then a single filtration is carried out.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to methods for the production of oil from plant material, and the invention can be used for the production of fatty oils from highly oily waste materials from the tobacco field, ie tobacco seeds. Background technique [0002] A known method of producing tobacco oil from tobacco seeds involves cleaning of the seeds, detoxification, pressing and recovering the oil, thus when the cleaned seeds are provided for first pressing to produce tobacco oil preserving its natural properties and then delivering the oil The residue cake is used for detoxification, while the second pressing makes it possible to produce commercial tobacco oil, a double pressing is done (pending application number 13562 of RK, Cl.: C 11 B 1 / 00, 2003). [0003] The above methods do not provide a high degree of cleanliness and, therefore, the oil produced cannot be used for medical purposes. [0004] A known method of producing vegetable oil from high oleagi...
