[0022] (1) Isolation and identification of strains

[0023] The plants where pepper blight had occurred were collected, and the pathogenic bacteria were isolated from the junction of diseased and healthy stems of infected peppers using Phytophthora selective medium, and their pathogenicity was verified. Then, the pathogenic bacteria of pepper blight was used as indicator bacteria, and antagonistic bacteria were isolated from the rhizosphere soil of healthy plants in continuous cropping pepper blight-affected fields. Then, the high-efficiency antagonistic strains were re-screened through pot experiments, and the antagonistic strain NJLZ-8 was finally obtained and identified. The strains were stored in 30% glycerol at -70°C. As a result of the plate confrontation test, it was found that the inhibitory rate of the antagonistic bacteria NJLZ-8 to the pathogenic bacteria reached 68% (such as figure 1 ).

Abstract

The invention relates to an antagonist bacterium which can overcome or eliminate a hot pepper epidemic disease and produced microbial organic fertilizer thereof, belonging to an intensive agriculture production technology. By the invention, an antagonist bacterium (Bacillus pumilus NJLZ-8) which has an obvious antagonist function on pathogenic oomycetes of the hot pepper continuous cropping epidemic disease is separated; the antagonist bacterium is mixed with organic fertilizer to prepare microbial organic fertilizer; and the fertilizer contains more than 1*108 antagonist microorganisms per gram, 4-5 percent of total nitrogen ( more than 90 percent of organic nitrogen), 6-10 percent of total nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium nutrients and 30-35 percent of organic matter. Proved by tests, the microbial organic fertilizer can rapidly breed antagonist bacteria after being applied into soil, form a preponderant group in the soil and has more than 80 percent of biological preventing and treating rate on the hot pepper epidemic disease in the soil with serious hot pepper epidemic disease. The generation of the hot pepper epidemic disease can be prevented to a large extent by applying the microbial organic fertilizer on the soil without forming continuous cropping obstacles for a long time.
