Problems solved by technology

For the Adaptive Multi-Rate codec (Adaptive Multi-Ratecodec, AMR) voice version, since the MS and the Base Transceiver Station (Base Transceiver Station, BTS) do not use a single rate but a rate set to activate (MS and BTS Negotiate the rate type according to the voice quality of the uplink and downlink, and select an appropriate rate for communication), which will result in that although both MSs use the AMR voice version, because the rate sets used by the two are different, when performing local switching No voice after local switching

Embodiment 1

[0017] This embodiment provides a local switching method, especially a local switching method supporting AMR speech coding. The method will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0018] refer to figure 1 , figure 1 Shown is a local switching method according to an embodiment of the present invention, the method includes:

[0019] Step S101: Detect whether the voice versions of the adaptive multi-rate codecs used by the devices to be switched locally are the same, and whether the rate sets of the voice versions of the adaptive multi-rate codecs have an intersection;

[0020] The equipment for local switching includes mobile stations and base transceiver stations.

[0021] This step can be completed by the BSC equipment, that is, the base station controller (Base Station Controller, BSC), and the modification of the voice version can specifically use the method of switching or mode modification to modify the AMR voice versions of the two...

Embodiment 2

[0028] This embodiment provides a local switching method, especially a local switching method supporting AMR speech coding. The method will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0029] refer to figure 2 , shows a local switching method according to another embodiment of the present invention, the method includes:

[0030] Step S201 detects whether the AMR voice versions used by the MSs to be switched locally are the same, and whether the rate sets of the AMR voice versions have an intersection, if the AMR voice versions are the same and the rate sets of the AMR voice versions have an intersection, then perform the following step 203;

[0031] Step 202 If the AMR voice versions are not the same, modify the AMR voice versions of the two MSs to be the same, if the rate sets of the AMR voice versions do not overlap, then modify the rate sets of the AMR voice versions of the two MSs to at least part of the rate types Same; this step is per...

Embodiment 3

[0035] This embodiment provides a local switching method, especially a local switching method supporting AMR speech coding. The method will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0036] refer to image 3 , shows a local switching method according to another embodiment of the present invention, the method includes:

[0037] Step S301 detects whether the AMR voice versions used by the MSs that need to perform local switching are the same, if they are the same, perform the following steps, if not, then modify the AMR voice versions of the two MSs to be the same;

[0038] Step S302 detects whether there is an intersection in the rate sets of the AMR voice versions used by the MSs that need to perform local switching, if there is an intersection, proceed to the following step S303, if not, modify the rate sets of the AMR voice versions of the two MSs to at least part of the rate types Identical; above-mentioned steps are carried out by BSC, ...

Abstract

The present invention provides a method, a control apparatus and a system for local switch. The method includes: detecting whether adaptive multi-rate codec (AMR) speech versions used by devices that need to perform local switch are the same and whether rate sets of the AMR speech versions have an intersection; when the AMR speech versions are different, modifying the AMR speech versions so that the AMR speech versions are the same; when the rate sets of the AMR speech versions do not have the intersection, modifying the rate sets of the AMR speech versions so that the rate sets of the AMR speech versions have the intersection; and establishing the local switch between the devices that have the same AMR speech version and the intersection of the rate sets. In the present invention, functions of an AMR may be fully utilized while a Mobile Station (MS) performs the local switch by using the AMR speech version, so as to improve speech quality.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of network communication, in particular to a local switching method, control device and system. Background technique [0002] With the development of the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM, Global System for Mobile Communications,) network, GSM network application coverage has shifted from dense urban coverage to remote area coverage. These remote areas are characterized by scattered locations, but relatively concentrated personnel, and calls are generally concentrated between local users. In this kind of coverage, the use of local switching technology can greatly reduce the cost of network construction for operators. [0003] Since it is not necessary to perform rate adaptation through a transcoder and rate adaptation unit (TRAU) when performing local switching, this requires the two mobile stations (Mobile Station, MS) that perform local switching to use The rate types must be consistent, that is, the tw...
