An environment-friendly flocculant for treating tap water The flocculant is characterized by using poly aluminium trichloride solution, natural polymer polysaccharide solution and auxiliary agent A solution in a coordinated way, wherein the poly aluminium trichloride solution has mass percent of 0.1-1%; the natural polymer polysaccharide solution is dilute acid solution with mass content of 0.2-2%; the auxiliary agent A solution is compound solution of sodium hydroxide, sodium bicarbonate, aluminum chloride, montmorillonite and water; and the montmorillonite accounts for 5% of the total mass of the compound solution. The best volume ratio of poly aluminium trichloride solution to natural polymer polysaccharide solution to auxiliary agent A solution used by the flocculant is equal to 0.5-5:3-10:5-10. The flocculant has large flocculation particles and high sedimentation velocity and has removal rate of raw water turbidity up to 98.09%. The raw water turbidity can be within 3NTU, the national standard, through one-time treatment when the raw water turbidity is between 70NTU and 100NTU. The content of aluminum ions in the effluent is 57.5% less than the content of aluminum ions in the traditional flocculants, the medicines for treating the tap water are little, and the flocculant does not contain the components harming the human bodies and has excellent performance and stable quality.
