Abstract

The invention provides a device and a method for determining expansion frequency points of the cell. The method comprises the following steps of: determining a neighboring cell of the cell to be expanded; determining signal intensity of all the frequency points of the neighboring cell on the junction of the neighboring cell and the cell to be expanded; and determining the expansion frequency points of the cell to be expanded according to the determined signal intensity. Compared with the signal intensity of the central point of the cell, the signal intensity of the neighboring cell on the cell junction more completely reflects the strength of the interference of all the frequency points of the neighboring cell with the cell to be expanded, so that the expansion frequency points of the cell to be expanded can be selected according to the signal intensity to make the interference strength as small as possible. The method for determining the expansion frequency points does not depend on changing-over relation definition and changing-over statistics of the conventional networks to select the expansion frequency points, has simple calculation process, can quickly select expansion frequency and improves frequency expansion efficiency.
