Abstract

The present invention relates to an internal combustion engine used for combustion gas, and particularly to an Otto gas engine which is provided with at least one combustion chamber, wherein, the combustion chamber is communicated with a combustion gas nozzle connected with a combustion gas line for introducing the combustion gas into the combustion chamber. Furthermore the internal combustion engine is provided with an ignition device which extends into the combustion chamber for igniting the combustion gas. According to the invention, the combustion gas nozzle (7) is communicated with the combustion chamber (4) with a mode that a combustion gas jet (8) brought from the combustion gas nozzle (7) into the combustion chamber (4) is directed at the ignition device (6).
