Abstract

The system comprises a network video monitoring platform, an IVU and an IVM, wherein the IVU is used to identify the video information input to the network video monitoring platform and select a corresponding transmission channel according to the result of the identification to output, and the IVM is used to manage the capability set of the IVU and the strategy of intelligent image identification and provide an interface to connect with the network video monitoring. The invention also designs a network video intelligent monitoring method. The embodiment of the invention uses the IVM to manage the intelligent image identification ability of the IVU and provides the external interface management and calling so as to blend the intelligent image identification ability in the monitoring platform; the invention also adopts the intelligent image identification algorithm encapsulated in the IVU to identify the video information and returns the identification result in the form of a system event to the monitoring system, thus effectively using an original linkage system or data analysis system in the system in combination to realize complex applications.
