Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for better growing indoor crops such as celasian grasses without harming their roots. It uses various methods like hydrous media (humidified), organisms containing specific substances called cargonins). These techniques help improve the efficiency at promoting vegetative cell division while reducing negative impacts from other factors associated with agricultural activities. Additionally, it provides technical means to control the temperature during the process, making it easier to collect large amounts of nitrogen-rich solutions needed for optimal results. Overall, this new technique helps farmers produce higher yields per unit area compared to existing ways.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed by this patents relates to improving plant breeders' ability to produce crops that provide good taste without being affected from seasonality issues like winter temperatures during harvest time due to poor sunlight conditions at nighttime when crop production involves drought stress on dry land where there may exist various types of diseases caused by insect infestations. Additionally, current methods involve opening fields for farming which makes them vulnerable to environmental factors affecting their yields over long periods of time.

Abstract

The invention relates to a soilless culture method for feather cockscombs. The method comprises the following steps: (1) soaking feather cockscomb seeds at 20-35 DEG C for 4-12 hours; taking out and sprouting the feather cockscomb seeds at 25-35 DEG C in dark; (2) placing the sprouted feather cockscomb seeds on a substrate for seedling; transplanting feather cockscomb seedlings to a substrate or an aquaculture container for soilless culture after two true leaves grow on each feather cockscomb seedling; and (3) adding nutrient fluid to the substrate or the aquaculture container for soilless culture under a culture temperature of 25-35 DEG C, illumination intensity of 1000-7500 lux, illumination time of 6-12 hours and culture period of 20-35 days so that the feather cockscombs without more than 10 leaves grow. The method does not confined by seasons, avoids the pollution of water bodies and air, plant diseases and insect pests, weed harm, and the like, and can manually and annually produce good-quality feather cockscombs by the soilless culture, thereby providing a new path with fast effect, low cost, no pollution and good quality for effectively developing and utilizing the feathercockscombs.
