Problems solved by technology

The results of many tests show that the test success rate of this method is not high, and most of the pipe samples are broken at the welding place between the pipe head and the connecting joint, which wastes a lot of manpower and material resources

Embodiment 1

[0012] For 6 Zr-4 pipes with an outer diameter of 6mm and a length of 150mm, one end is welded with an end plug, the inner diameter of the coupling joint 3 is processed to 6.5~6.8mm, and the open end of the pipe 4 is shown image 3 The inner hole of end A is inserted to end B and protrudes about 1mm, and argon arc welding is performed around end B to the coupling joint 3 and the sleeve pipe 4. After the welding is completed, the flat head is machined to facilitate the sealing connection. All the 6 sleeved pipes were tested successfully, and none of them broke at the weld.

Embodiment 2

[0014] The test was performed on 6 Zr-4 pipes with an outer diameter of 8 mm and a length of 150 mm. The method was the same as in Example 1, except that the inner diameter of the coupling joint was changed. The test success rate was 100%.

Abstract

The invention provides a welding method for a zirconium alloy tube joint for bursting tests. The method comprises the following steps: according to the outside diameter of the zirconium alloy tube, processing a coupling joint made of the same material as the zirconium alloy tube, wherein the inside diameter of the coupling joint can accommodate the tightly inserted zirconium alloy tube, and the zirconium alloy tube is connected with the coupling joint in a mode of internally inserting; and then welding a port of the coupling joint and the zirconium alloy tube by an argon arc welding method, and truncating the joint by a machine after welding. The welding method solves the problem that the zirconium alloy tube bursts nearby a welding part during the bursting tests for the zirconium alloy tube, improves success ratio of the bursting tests greatly, and saves expensive raw materials.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to a welding method of a metal pipe joint, in particular to a welding method of a zirconium alloy pipe joint for blasting tests. Background technique [0002] The nuclear zirconium alloy cladding tube must be subjected to a closed-end blasting test to verify its pressure resistance. figure 1 It is a simple schematic diagram of a blasting test device designed by a testing center in my country in the 1970s. One end of the test pipe is welded to death with an end plug, and the other end is welded to the coupling joint. The coupling joint is connected to the equipment through the thread for blasting test. The schematic diagram of the connection joint is as figure 2 . Argon arc welding is carried out after the pipe is connected with the outer end A of the coupling joint. The results of many experiments show that the success rate of this method is not high, and the pipe samples are mostly broken at the welding place between the pipe head a...
