Abstract

The invention discloses a sound screen for a viaduct, comprising a screen support and a cable support disposed on the screen support. The screen support comprises an integrated prefab active powder concrete bottom beam, a back plate and a beam. The bottom beam is disposed at the lower end of the back plate, the beam is disposed at the upper end of the back plate, and the cable support is disposed on the said back plate. A protruding portion is disposed at the lower end of the back plate, and the included angle between the protruding portion and the bottom beam is a right angle. A composite sound absorbing layer is disposed on the surface of the back plate. Comparing with prior art, the invented sound screen comprises a bottom beam, a back plate and a beam which are integrated and prefabricated in factory by using a shaped mould plate. The sound screen is connected with the bridge by connecting the bottom beam of the sound screen with the bridge by bolts, which can be assembled on site simply. The sound screen is produced as an integral body, and steel columns and ALC protective fence plates of traditional sound screen are saved, so that cost and maintenance are reduced.
