Abstract

The invention discloses a video mailbox message storage method, which comprises the following steps: firstly, a terminal B calls a terminal A and transfers to the video mailbox of the terminal A for video message; secondly, a medium server records the video message and divides it into pure audio and video files to be stored separately; finally, the terminal A video calls into the video mailbox and chooses to play the pure audio file or the pure video file or play the both synchronously. By separately storing the pure audio and video resources of the video message, the invention makes it easy for the terminal user to play the pure audio and video files separately or synchronously; thereby reducing the cost, strengthening the business development and increasing the benefits of both the operator and the terminal user.
