Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for upgrading software of network net element, and a net element using the software upgrading method and having the software upgrading device, wherein the method comprises the following steps: receiving upgrade software from a receiver by any net element in a network, upgrading the software of the net element, and updating the software information table of the net element; searching a neighboring net element adjacent to the net element and having a software to be upgraded; and transmitting the upgrade software to the neighboring net element to be upgraded. Therefore, the workload is reduced, the possibility of omit produced during the software upgrading of the net element is reduced, and the pressure on network communication brought by conventional upgrade manner is reduced.
