The present invention is one absorption-desorption process, which includes the absorption of hydrogen chloride from the tail gas in an absorption tower at the temperature higher than the boiling temperature of benzene, 80.1 deg.c, with sprayed water or diluted hydrochloric acid to form concentrated hydrochloric acid, and the recovering of benzene from benzene vapor for reuse; and the desorption of concentrated hydrochloric acid in a desorption tower to obtain dry pure hydrogen chloride gas for reuse. The absorption-desorption process can recover benzene and hydrogen chloride from tail gas completely for reuse, and has saving of resource and environment friendship.
