[0007] Thaw the frozen North Pacific squid ink sac at room temperature, wash 4 times with clean water, remove the surface debris, squeeze the ink sac, and take the squid ink. Weigh 1Kg of squid ink, add 2Kg of distilled water to stir, wash, filter with coarse filter cloth to remove impurities such as ink glands and inner membrane of ink sac. Adjust the pH to 7.2 with NaOH aqueous solution, add 10 g of papain under stirring, and hydrolyze the enzyme in a water bath shaker at 60°C for 20 hours. The reaction was terminated by heating at 90-100°C for 10 min, the pH was adjusted to 4 with acid solution, and the precipitate was collected by centrifugation at 3300xg for 20 min at room temperature. The precipitate was washed repeatedly with 10 times the weight of distilled water and centrifuged at 4500xg until the washing solution became neutral, and then freeze-dried in vacuo to obtain 182 g of squid ink melanin.
