Abstract

A bowling lane including one or more lane sections, fasteners and plugs. Each fairway segment has a first surface, a second surface and a plurality of connection points. In some embodiments, each attachment point has a first hole having a first diameter, a second hole having a second diameter extending a first axial length, and a third hole extending a first axial length. A third hole of two axial lengths. The first hole extends between the second surface and the second hole, the second hole extends between the first hole and the third hole, and the third hole extends between the second hole and the first surface. The third diameter is greater than the second diameter, and the second diameter is greater than the first diameter. Each fastener has a stem and a cap. The size of the cap matches the second hole. A fastener engages the lower deck through the first hole, thereby connecting the fairway section to the lower deck. Each plug has an axial length and is located in a third hole.
