Problems solved by technology

Although such double sheets can be identified by sensors, their separation is more complicated than when the double sheets are attached to each other, e.g. by electrostatic forces
In addition, such an intermediate cushion often leads to double sheets and thus at least hinders the separation process

Embodiment Construction

[0029] figure 1 Suction elements 6 of a lifting device 1 , not all of which are shown, are shown schematically with shaping elements 7 . The suction air flow is conducted through the suction element 6 in the direction of the arrow 5 via a duct not shown. As a result, the porous intermediate mat 2 or printing plates 3 placed on a printing plate stack 4 in the partially shown cassette 8 can be sucked in and then lifted by the lifting device 1 . It can also be used for the intermediate cushion layer 2 which is not porous. The same reference numerals denote the same elements below.

[0030] Such as figure 2As shown, the shaping element 7 here consists of a solid molded part which surrounds a suction element 6 . The shaping element 7 has a boundary 11 as a lower boundary surface, which is deformed by the first recess in such a way that a continuous groove 12 is formed on the bottom surface of the shaping element 7 . The groove 12 is interrupted only where the shaping element ...

Abstract

A device is provided for singly separating flat objects of different flexibility from a stack preferably being formed of printing plates and flexible interleaves. At least one suction element sucks up an object with a suction air flow. If using the porous materials as flexible interleaves, double pieces are generated by the absorption of the printing plates permeating through the interleaves. Thereby, the application range of the separation device is limited because there are some problems during the application of the porous materials. In order to eliminate the defect, the suction element is substantially surrounded by the shaping element with the boundary. A flexible object is deformed when the suction element sucks so as to form an air channel such that the air of the ambient pressure enters among the objects so as to avoid the formation of the double pieces.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a device for separating flat objects of different flexibility from a stack, preferably consisting of printing plates and a flexible intermediate layer, which device comprises at least one suction element for the purpose of extracting a flow of air by means of Suction objects. The invention also relates to a method for separating a stack of flat objects of different flexibility, preferably consisting of printing plates and a flexible intermediate layer, wherein the objects are sucked up by at least one suction element. Background technique [0002] For individual processing, it is first necessary to separate the flat objects stacked on one another, in particular the flat objects supplied in such a stack, and then to feed them individually one after the other into the processing machine. In particular, the printing plates must also be fed individually into the printing plate exposure machine for their exposure. This can be done...
