Embodiment Construction

[0054] The structure of the core switching node of the optical burst switching network is as follows: figure 2As shown, it mainly includes a BHP processing module, an optical fiber delayer and an optical space division cross matrix. In this system structure, there are 4 input fibers, and each input fiber has 9 wavelengths λ 0~8 , where 1 wavelength channel λ 0 As a control channel, 8 wavelength channels λ 1~8 as a data channel. Each input fiber carries these 9 wavelengths with 9 fibers by using a splitter. Similarly, there are 4 output fibers, and each output fiber connects 9 fibers together by using a multiplexer. Therefore, the system supports the switching of 4 groups of 32 optical bursts in total. The upper part of the figure is the BHP processing module, which is connected to the control channel of each input fiber and output fiber. Each data channel of each input optical fiber is connected to a 4×4 optical space division cross matrix through a fiber delay device, ...

Abstract

The present invention provides a method of resolving the resource conflicts of optical eruption (i.e. Logic Visual Output Queue-LVOQ Method) comprising BHP queue method and dispatch-control method. Through separate queue of different attributes' BHP, the innovation that the services are rendered by making use of the flexible priority tactics to choose BHP will conduct a dispatch of BHP in a more optimal way. In doing so, the efficiency of handling BHP will be enhanced so as to satisfy the requirements of the performances of different systems, thus raising the utilization of exchanging resources with an aim of improving the features of exchanges.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of optical communication, and in particular relates to an optical burst switching technology. Background technique [0002] Optical fiber communication is gradually becoming the main mode of modern communication transmission, and technologies such as Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) currently used have made the communication capacity very large. But in the traditional optical transmission and electrical switching network, the packet needs to go through optical->electrical->optical transformation at the intermediate node (switch or router). As the link rate increases from 1Gb / s to 10Gb / s, and even to 40Gb / s, the complexity and cost of photoelectric conversion devices and high-speed circuits rise sharply, resulting in an "electronic bottleneck". Under this background, an optical burst switching (Optical Burst Switching, OBS for short) network is proposed. In this kind of network, the optic...
