Problems solved by technology

In the study of dendroclimatology, indicators representing interannual changes (such as tree ring width, density, and isotope content, etc.) are often used for response analysis or reconstruction of paleoclimate with external environmental factors on a sub-annual scale, but this tree ring-climate The relationship is based on statistics and is often questioned due to the lack of internal mechanism and physiological explanation

Embodiment Construction

[0023] The present invention will be further described below in combination with specific embodiments.

[0024] The embodiment of the present application provides a kind of research method based on the radial growth dynamics of trees in a year, comprising the following steps:

[0025] Step 1: Set up 3 sampling points according to different groundwater depths, and select 5 healthy, upright trees without obvious competition for each sampling point;

[0026] Step 2: Collect micro-tree core samples at the DBH of the sample tree every week from April to October. A total of 26 samples were collected, and 390 samples were collected. After sampling, mark the specific time and tree number. FAA fixative, also known as standard fixative or universal fixative, has the function of preservative.

[0027] Step 3: Take out the sample from the FAA solution, draw a line with a pencil in the direction perpendicular to the vascular, place it in the embedding box, and mark the sample number clear...

Abstract

The invention discloses a research method based on annual radial growth dynamics of forest trees, which comprises the following steps of: 1, setting three sampling points at the downstream, and selecting five forest trees from each sampling point; 2, micro tree core samples are collected every week, the samples are put into an FAA solution to be fixed, and time and serial numbers are marked after sampling; 3, taking a sample from the FAA solution, scribing the sample by using a pencil, placing the sample in an embedding box, and marking a sample number on the embedding box; 4, dehydrating the micro-tree core sample, making the micro-tree core sample transparent, soaking and embedding the micro-tree core sample to form a wax block; 5, cutting the paraffin block into paraffin sections; 6, fixing the paraffin section on a glass slide, and drying the paraffin section in a drying oven; 7, dewaxing and transparentizing the dried sample; 8, sample dyeing; 9, washing off redundant coloring agent in the dyed sample by using distilled water, and cleaning the dyed sample by using alcohol and xylene; 10, sealing the cleaned sample; and 11, photographing the sample under a microscope, and measuring the total radial growth length of the xylem.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of plant ecology, in particular to a research method based on the annual radial growth dynamics of forest trees. Background technique [0002] Trees are sensitive to external climate changes and can respond quickly to climate changes. Tree rings have the characteristics of accurate dating, high resolution, easy access, and wide spatial coverage. They can be widely used in climate change research and play an important role in the study of past long-term climate change. The response of tree rings to climate change is not limited to the past. Tree rings still play an irreplaceable role in adapting to current climate change and predicting future climate change. In the study of dendroclimatology, indicators representing interannual changes (such as tree ring width, density, and isotope content, etc.) are often used for response analysis or reconstruction of paleoclimate with external environmental factors on a sub-annual ...
