Abstract

The invention provides silicon-containing cationic polyacrylamide, which is prepared from the following comonomers in parts by weight: 20 to 60 parts of acrylamide, 1 to 10 parts of silicon-containing comonomer and 20 to 60 parts of cationic monomer. The invention also provides an application of the silicon-containing cationic polyacrylamide as an oil-containing sewage treatment agent. According to the cationic polyacrylamide provided by the invention, an oleophylic long-chain silicon-containing copolymerization unit is innovatively introduced to a conventional hydrophilic main chain, so that hydrophilic suspended particles can be effectively adsorbed and coalesced, adsorption and coalescence of oil drops can be effectively promoted, and meanwhile, the emulsified surface of the oil drops can be destroyed by virtue of an irregular configuration of the cationic polyacrylamide, so that the adsorption and coalescence of the oil drops can be effectively promoted. The stability of oil drops is reduced, and the aggregation of the oil drops is promoted, so that the sewage treatment efficiency of a polyacrylamide product can be greatly improved, and the method is particularly suitable for treating oil-containing sewage.
