Abstract

The invention discloses application of HDS in predicting prognosis of gastric cancer patients, guiding postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy and predicting the curative effect of immunotherapy. 103 genes related to gastric cancer prognosis are obtained through screening, an HDS score is constructed based on a PCA method, and analysis results prove that gastric cancer patients in a high HDS group have longer survival time than gastric cancer patients in a low HDS group; high-HDS gastric cancer patients are more suitable for immunotherapy; and patients with stage II low-HDS gastric cancer gain more benefits from postoperative chemotherapy than patients with high-HDS gastric cancer. The HDS evaluation system provides a new method for predicting prognosis of gastric cancer and selecting postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy regimens and immunotherapy regimens, and has a good clinical application prospect.
