AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This invention relates to an improved method for studying blood vessels that connect different parts or organs within our body during embryonic development. By simulating this process with traditional methods like creation of tissue plugs made from collagen gels, researchers have been able to study how these structures work together more accurately than other techniques such as histology analysis.

Problems solved by technology

This technical problem addressed in this patents relates to current methods used during arterial surgeries such as angioplasty procedures involving blockages caused by plaque buildup due to stenosis. Current techniques involve measuring pressure values at specific locations within vessels, but these measurements may lack accuracy when applied outside normal physiology conditions. Therefore there has been a long felt need for improved tools capable of accurately predictive assessment of hemodyneysinimal dystrophy(HDD) patients who have suffered one common condition called rupture disk syndrome.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for constructing an aortic dissection model by using a biological material, which comprises the following steps of: 1, acquiring an aorta of an in-vitro mammal, and reserving a branch artery with a proper length on the aorta; 2, folding the aorta inwards and outwards to expose the aorta intima to the outer side; 3, selecting the position of a first dissection gap, cutting the aorta intima to form the first dissection gap with set depth and width, and separating the aorta intima at the first dissection gap from the aorta adventitia; 4, inserting a long sheet-shaped first punching tool into the first dissection gap, and punching towards the far end of the aorta, so as to separate the aorta intima and the aorta mesolamella on the punching path and manufacture an aorta dissection with set length and width; and 5, folding the aorta inwards and outwards again to expose the aorta adventitia to the outer side, thus completing aorta dissection construction. An aortic dissection model based on a biological material can be prepared through the method.
